Home -- for our Surrogate Parent Training Program:
 
Here is an overview of our training for surrogate parent:
- We will focus on the 18 school districts located in Summit County -- as our service area.
- After we experience the first full iteration of training then we can expand our service area.
- Each iteration of training will give us the capacity to train more people and at a lower cost.
 
 
We will:
- Meet in 3 live sessions in Cuyahoga Falls.
- Post content on this website for trainees to learn -- between meetings.
- Ask trainees to read specific web pages and summarize their understanding.
- Link to other websites from our website and search other websites to discover differences.
- Ask trainees to email their summary and insights to train-sp@live.com.
- Ask trainees to blog with each other and our training facilitator/program director.
- Use our blog to cultivate the 'collective genius' of our trainees.
- Keep the emails from each trainee in a digital folder to evaluate at the end of their training.
- Award a certificate of completion.
